Artist Statement
My work explores inner transformation as a lived and deeply personal experience. I am interested in the moment when an inner shift becomes visible, when something that has long existed beneath the surface slowly finds its form.
Through painting, I create spaces that invite reflection, remembrance, and reconnection. My works do not tell fixed stories. Instead, they offer an open field in which memories, emotions, and inner images can emerge. Childhood wonder, subconscious depth, and the quiet courage to follow one’s own inner truth are recurring elements throughout my artistic practice.
Visually, my paintings move between clarity and ambiguity. Motifs may appear familiar at first glance, yet they remain open to interpretation. I work with multiple layers, subtle disruptions, and gentle contrasts, allowing tension and harmony to exist side by side. This approach reflects the nature of inner transformation itself, which rarely unfolds in a straight line, but develops through pauses, shifts, and moments of recognition.
My artistic language combines classical oil painting with mixed media, collage, and carefully chosen materials such as gold leaf. Gold is not used as decoration, but as a meaningful presence within the work. It symbolizes value, awareness, and the moment when an inner decision becomes visible. For me, gold marks those points of clarity where inner truth is acknowledged and consciously expressed.
The structure of my work follows an inner progression. Each body of work reflects a different stage of transformation, ranging from subconscious depth and imagination to movement, confidence, and lived fulfillment. These stages are not meant as destinations, but as emotional states that remain fluid and personal to each viewer.
I see painting as a contemplative process and a conscious act of presence. My work invites viewers to pause, to feel, and to reconnect with their own inner landscapes, not as an escape from reality, but as a way to engage with life more honestly, attentively, and with greater awareness.
